Undergraduates and Foundation Doctors

We are an approved GP training practice training undergraduates and Foundation Doctors.

GP Specialist Training

During each year we normally have three fulltime GPstR (ST3) in practice. The GPs are also educational supervisors for GPstR in training year ST1 and ST2 during which time the registrars come to practice for one day in each rotation.

They spend their 3rd year with the practice fulltime.

Staff Training

East Cliff Practice has an annual appraisal system where all members of staff must undertake an annual appraisal. Personal development and training is discussed in this meeting.

All staff attend Educational Half Days where possible for training which is held at the surgery approximately 8 times a year. This time is used for education relating to the Practice Learning Plan and to learn from sharing experiences with the team.
