We are looking for a salaried doctor who is enthusiastic about family medicine. 

The historic port of Ramsgate with its attractive coastline has good local schools, is close to the continent and on the high speed rail link to London.

We currently have an opportunity for a salaried GP to join our team and would love to hear from you.

 We are:

  • A well organised teaching practice
  • A stable and cohesive team of 12 GP’s organised into 2 clinical teams, well supported by an extended primary care team enabling robust personal care.
  • An integrated primary care centre delivering primary care services and providing quality care for 16,000 patients
  • Working from a purpose built state of the art building which also delivers a number of attached services
  • Awarded an overall rating of Good across all domains in a recent CQC inspection

We are looking for a GP who:

Pharmacy Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and diverse team at East Cliff Medical Practice within Ramsgate Primary Care Network. The successful candidate will help shape the delivery of Pharmacy services to patients over the coming years. We already have 2 technicians in post across the Network and a growing multi-disciplinary team including clinical pharmacists, community matrons, social prescribers and care navigators. You will be well supported in your role and work closely with others as we strive to provide the highest quality of care for our patients.

The role will support the Clinical Pharmacist and wider practice team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and efficient systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, reducing medicines waste and maximising patient outcomes. In addition to administrative tasks there will be a strong patient-facing element and will include involvement in multidisciplinary case discussions, delivery of care home services and addressing needs of patients in their homes.

The post holder will be a Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC who acts within their professional boundaries and have good IT skills and a sound knowledge of medicines optimisation. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with enthusiasm to drive change and a passion for providing the best possible care.
