Practice Nurse Team

Role: To offer comprehensive support to the doctors, Managing Partner and other members of the Primary Healthcare Team. The team provides a comprehensive nursing service to patients. Services include Triage, Minor Illness nursing, Travel Services, Health Promotion, Chronic Disease Management and MRC work.

Nursing Associates

Nursing Associate is a new role within the primary care nursing team. Nursing Associates work independently under the direct and indirect supervision of registered nurses to deliver care for patients. Nursing Associates work across all fields of nursing and work within the NMC code of conduct.

Healthcare Assistants

Role: To provide comprehensive support to the practice nurses. Tasks include all new patient examinations (except of patients on medication), venepuncture, warfarin clinics, ECGs, dermatoscope, assist with minor operations, NHS health checks and oral glucose tolerance testing, health walks leaders, blood pressures and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, . To control and oversee the ordering and calibration of practice equipment, routine checks of equipment. To organise and control patient information leaflets and assist with notice boards.

GP Registrars

We are a training practice and as such regularly welcome GP registrars to our team. GP registrars are qualified doctors undertaking further GP training with an allocated GP trainer within the practice. They have a full year placement in General Practice during their final year of training.

We currently have two GP Registrars with us at the moment: Dr Ucha and Dr Olorunfemi.
